Product update notification: SC4340 metal cap is renamed to SC4440

EPOPACK is renaming a popular metal screw on cap.

The SC4340 cap originally came with 2 variations :

• 1) The standard plastic screw on cap which matches a 24/410 or 24/415 neck finish bottle → this will remain the same item name: SC4340

• 2) The standard plastic screw on cap featuring a metal shell which matches a 24/410 or 24/415 neck finish bottle → this will be renamed with the product code: SC4440

  
  

Please update your system and record accordingly and going forward, please use SC4440 for this metal screw on cap for 24 neck finished bottles.

A summary of all the screw on cap options for a 24 neck finish bottle :

• SC4340: a one-piece double layer PP plastic screw on cap with a PE liner inserted (inner injection gate)

• SC4440: a PP plastic screw on cap with an aluminum overshell with a PE liner inserted

• SC4534 + 4227: a PET double layer screw on cap with a PE liner inserted for 24/410 neck finish bottles

• SC4534 + 4222: a PET double layer screw on cap with a PE liner inserted for 24/415 neck finish bottles

• SC5429: a PET single layer screw on cap with a PE liner inserted only for the DV series bottles
